Bill Telford Head shooting instructor at High Bird Shooting, is a certified instructor qualified with the Association of professional shooting instructors (A.P.S.I.) and trade registered with BASC.
Bill has been shooting for more than 50 years. He helps shooters improve their shot-gun scores and game shooting technique and game bird hit ratio. Bill achieves this using his skills and abilities in relation to shooting instruction and importantly through his ability to communicate across all levels of ability, being able to explain techniques in numerous ways that you can easily understand.
Bill utilises beautiful picturesque private grounds in the heart of the Cheshire Countryside to teach game and clay shooting skills (outside of the traditional shooting schools), including the venue Willington Hall, Utkinton, which has meals and accommodation and other outdoor activities such as horse riding that you can book.
Bill believes that successful clay and game shooting can be learned quickly and easily by anyone and this is reflected in his teaching style that will benefit anyone from complete novice to experienced shot interested in improving their game and clay shooting skills and hit ratio.
For novice or experienced Game Shooters Bill can guide you through the shoot rules, etiquette and protocols (where required) and discreetly instruct you on your peg.
